Cornwall Community Foundation

Together we’re stronger

The Cornwall Community Foundation (CCF) is an independent charity that invests in communities to improve the lives of others in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We mainly support volunteer-led, grassroots community groups and individuals in crisis. Since 2003 the CCF has invested £6m into the community, over 2000 local projects have benefited in Cornwall. The CCF awarded £741,000 to a total of over 600 community projects in 2014. We support every parish in Cornwall and all the money that we raise stays in Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly.

In the last few years the CCF has supported the St Erth Residents Association, St Erth Methodist Chapel and the St Erth Concert Band.

We have 35 grant programmes, the projects that we support range from foodbanks and youth projects to village hall repairs and crime prevention. You can find more details about our grants on our website at

We are an independent charity and rely on donations to fund us and continue our services.

You can support us as a Friend of the CCF for as little as £25 a year. You will receive up-to-date information in our newsletters about where your money is going and how it is helping people around Cornwall, as well as being invited to our popular “Seeing is Believing” events which visit projects that have received grants. You will receive invitations to many other events, including the annual Friends’ Drinks party.
