The proposed housing scheme adjacent to Sithney School Playing Field secured planning approval on 9th June 2015 and will see the construction of 20 new homes. 12 homes will be for affordable rent (2 x 1b flats, 6 x 2 bed houses and 4 x 3 bed houses) and 6 homes will be for shared ownership (4 x 2 beds and 2 x 3 beds). The remaining two homes are 3 bed open market properties. Also included within this scheme is an area of public open space and a car park. The car park will be first and foremost for school use.

Your eligibility will depend partly upon your ability to evidence a local connection to Sithney Parish, in the first instance, or, if it is necessary to cascade out , to Breage, Porthleven, Wendron and Crowan Parishes or, ultimately, the County of Cornwall. What qualifies as an ‘Area Local Connection’ and ‘County Local Connection’ is defined in the completed Section 106 agreement.
